as I wander through the gadget blogs and media center blogs, I see everyone talking about boxee, clikr, xbmc, etc etc... but no one ever mentions ZINC!? When in fact I think Zinc is absolutely the best aggregater of all the online content available! so do you guys need a better PR department or what? The only thing feature wise you are missing is library functionality for local content but I still don't see you compared to clikr or any of the other online only frontends.
Just my way of trying to tell you guys Zinc is the best out there, even if no one realizes it.

We are not currently charging anyone for Zinc. At some point this may change, but as of this post there is no charge for Zinc it is a free download.
We have found that some (insert slang term for scum) have taken our free download and placed it on their servers and charge for it. This NOT ALLOWED by our EULA, and we would appreciate any reports of this type of infringement.

love the program tons. i wouldnt pay for it nut thats me there is always gonna be free stuff i understand u need to make living and i respect that.great job on your work so far..yes u need to get your name out there.

I love Zinc Media Center. I have been using it for years & I always say to everyone when they they say Boxee is the best, then I say I like Boxee, but it does not compare to Zinc Media Center. The 2 favorite parts that I like about Zinc is the ability to add my own person rss video feeds & second the firefox browser that it is embedded in & by them doing that you can goto hulu or just do regular surfing. Zinc is the best & I will always use it & even if they start selling it because it is the best hand's down no question.

Zinc you rock!! every one i know is into Boxee and i tell them" Boxee shomtzee" let me show you this, and they love it! just my way of saying thank-you.

Thanks for the nice feedback! We do appreciate the kind words. Our small team of engineers and designers has been cranking towards the next release this fall and we are very excited about what we are building. We have added more people to the team and hopefully can accelerate the pace of what we deliver. At some point, there will be an investment in marketing, but we want to get the product right before we really launch it. Keep giving us feedback both good and bad, it fuels us...
Zinc is the best!! and when i mention it to someone they say "huh???" so i need to explain it to them. Everybody knows about play-on or something like that, you download it on your computer and your x box or whatever picks it up so you can watch your movies or TV shows on your TV they charge $39.99.........."huh???"
